Day 1 - Friendly Conversation
I opened the stone door and stepped inside, signaling Hidan that it was time for him to leave. Patches of moss coated the dark, damp walls, leaving an ominous feeling in the air to mingle with the heavy scent of blood agitating my sence of smell. The isolation chamber looked like the slaughter shack of a messy butcher - the girls blood was painted generously on the walls and floors. His clothes were smeared with blood, as was his sythe. He sighed with relief.
"It's about fucking time," he murmured, looking down at the Jashin symbol formed by his own blood, "This is getting to be more choresom every day, not to mention it's no fun torturing a
I walked slowly past every woman, taking the time to give each a once-over. All were dressed in simple clothing and had their hair groomed in a showy fashion. Most looked away or down - all tamed and spirits long broken.
"Well as you can see we have a wide verity of candidates," said the man who escorted me into the showroom, I believe his name was Anaki, "are there any in particular you find to your liking? If not we could-"
He was cut off by a sudden loud clatter of metals coming from the kitchen. The double doors opened abruptly and a man flew out, followed by an assortment of pots and pans - landing in the middle of the room just
Our simple dance ends with her arms draped loosely around my neck and mine resting gently on her hips. Our bodies touch lightly as I pull her closer. Slowly, I reach up the palm of my hand and softly tilt her chin upward, her is gaze softer than usual.
A warm smile graces her lips and at that moment her eyes seem to be smiling as well. I've dreamt of that smile, fantasized about it - but not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined it to be so purely breathtaking. The faces of every woman I've ever thought to be attractive fade away against the genuine beauty of this unearthly creature in my arms.
"Ask me again." she whispers s
My mind is sky on an early summer's morning, all is cloudy. I hear a woman's voice, frantic, impatient. My mind is unclear and my thoughts are unfocused, the woman might as well be whispering because I can't understand a word she is saying.
My body is tired - that much I can figure out. Anything other than that is an obscure blur. Even the simple act of opening my eyes slightly is labored. The burden proves too great and my eyelids shut in exaustion. I am not in any immediate pain but my body is in critical need of rest.
"Hey son, you alive?" I strain to crack my lids long enough to catch a glimpse of an elderly man of uncertain age but cer
I smile at you despite it all
Beneath your gaze I feel so small
You stare at me and I stare back
Both waiting for the other to begin their attack
Suddenly I drop my sword
Hoping to reach a peaceful accord
You only watch as I begin to walk
Focused as ever and still as a rock
I reach out slowly for your hand
This was not going as you'd planned
You stare me down and try to see
If this is real, if this is me
Momma, is there a God?
No, honey there isn't.
...Why would you say that Momma?
Because I refuse to worship an imaginary man living in the sky.
Well, prove that god doesn't exist.
Alright, I'll do that as soon as you prove to me there aren't any green swans, unicorns, or leprechauns.
Um...
Difficult, isn't it?
Essentially, the burden of proof is on the person claiming that something does exist.
But if you believe in god, you go to heaven. If you don't, you go to hell. If God doesn't exist, you die whether or not you believe. So why not believe in God just in case He exists?
Two simple reasons why not: It wouldn't be
In order to be perfect you must never be a boy
Girls are obviously superior, to them males are a toy
Nothing short of flawless skin will ever be tolerated
A dazzling smile, big beasts, and curves are never overrated
Hair like honey is a requirement, spun from gold and nothing less
A slim silhouette and bright blue eyes you simply must posses
Now that you have the makings, of a Perfect it would seem
You can finally wake up because perfection is just a dream
Everybody is listening, silent as the grave
Desperate for a miracle, our doomed souls to save
Frightful cries are heard, a sign of what's to come
Even in all our despair, we manage a feeble hum
Today we face the gallows, and even though hope is lost
We start to sing aloud, ready to pay the ultimate cost
Our charge be treachery, treason against the state
For associating with a pirate, this is now our fate
Some of us are scared, others show no fear
I walk forward slowly, knowing my life will end here
I will not be afraid today, I promised I would not cry
Now I can go with dignity, now it's time to say goodbye
The day is warmed by an ever glowing sun
Beware of his charm for his shine might yet stun
His rays reach down gently to touch us below
But a once great friend can easily turn foe
The sun is the reason we all thrive on earth
Why flowers blossom and mothers give birth
It's true by his hand that many have died
But where there is good, evil must hide
Our eyes and our skin are at risk of his flare
But all we need do is treat them with care
Our sun is unique and one of a kind
For years unfathomable to the small human mind
